i know once my EF gauge hits 1/2 ive got about 100ks til the light comes on... obviously well out, when the tank is full the gauge is way past full... but i kind of like knowing that ive got 100ks at that mark... best way to work consumption, fill the tank, run it as normal, re-fill the tank again simple bit of maths gives you your average consumption over the whole tank... from memory mine does around 14l /100ks around town, highway about 10l /100ks

half tank wil get me bout 300km if i go till nearly empty but full tank gets me around 500km town driving but i never fill the tank, i always put $50 in a week and that gets me 350-360km with the occasional thrashing

Ok here it is. Driving on the freeway only, to work and back, taking it easy on the pedal i can get 400kms half tank.. about 800kms full tank. Trip says 8.7ltrs to 8.8ltr per 100. 91 or whatever octane doesn't mean s**t for me.

14.5 on freeway sounds little high.depends on ur set-up.

Im quoting myself have proof that i can do 400kms for half a tank on freeway. Sounds alot, but i think everyone with good nic car, easy on the pedal and the normal mods ie stock cam, but exhaust, cai, can achieve this.
