check your math mate. that's 6.67L/km it's just not possible, AUs are only good for about 10.5L/km or 9.5km/L at the very very best with perfect engine condition and tune with a tail wind.

I'd say it is possible actually.... I can average 7 in my EF with either an EF or AU motor... they werent stock...

AUs will do better than 9.5 on the highway, any stock falcon 6 should be able to do 8L/100km or better on the open road.

I managed 7-8L/100km on the way to Sydney with 3 people and full luggage...that was after the transmission conversion.

Round town my foot is too heavy, round 13.5L/100kms

I've had similar results in my EB Ghia, on petrol & gas out on the highway, but i do a but worse around town, due to a heavy right boot.

Cheers

My '02 Sportsman V8 gave me 8.6l/100klm or 33 mpg in the old school from Camden to Nowra. I did the limit all the way and the run was a dream, not even traffic through Berry. I took my time and I did it out to the coast at Culburra which is 162 k's from home in just over 2 hours. There is no way I will get rid of this one. (But my wife reckons I drive like an old man)

Cheers, AU055
