as far as i know you just squeeze the clips on it by hand and push it towards the filter, then it should unclip and will come off..

When you say squeeze, which part is it?

The red or the green bit? - see picture

I just went out to the garage and tried to squeeze both sides.

I can't for the life of me unplug it.

Have you actually squeezed it yourself? or is this a method you read off somewhere?

cheers

Oh KAY this / these are pricks to do. You need to push the sides in and push forwards and then pull backwards.

when you say push the sides in, you mean the white bit inside? looks like i might need some sort of small tool to push it in, cause my finger can't fit in there

you need to spread the inner bit by pushin the sides in... it is a prick to do,, Bursons sell a tool but meh, get two smallish screw drivers and push them in.

squeeze the red bits in as good as you can, usually by hand is enough, while squeezing them push the filter towards the hose, like you were putting the filter on,you should feel it move forward, when you feel it move forward then pull the filter back/take it off,if you can twist the filter aswell as your pulling it back, and be squeezing the bits you circled in red the whole time
