EL Fuel Economy

When my EL Ghia was standard it was chewing about 17l per 100km.

I have had extractors, 2.5 inch system, high flow cat, K&N panel filter.

Of course it was for the performance but i thought fuel economy would improve too. Well it hasnt. Its probably worse, I reckon I drive it about the same as before.

What sort of fuel economy is everyone getting??

i get like 450 in the stock EL farimont only get like 300 in the EF SVO. try driving with the cruise control on you will see a big change on the LEd display it shows it uses like 6-7 litters per 100km

well it seems to use less fuel thats what the read out says plus when you think about it how gently it accelerates compared to how we can do it, being driving by the computer alows it to be a smoother slow increas in speed but yeah i hope it saves fules because it also saves me speeding fines lol

Yes I drive a commodore for work and it has cruise and it deffinently saves you on the speeding fines.

But it is very annoying when the person in front does not have cruise and doesn't keep constant speed.
