I was curious if it was a Hybrid motor.

They have build dates from 2/98 onwards. My Ghia is 3/98 and my dad has a NL Fairlane, built 5/98. So both a hybrids.

I used to get some pretty awful stop/start fuel consumption figures. The hybrids dont seem to have the off the line torque that previous head designs did. Dad's NL is always worse off on fuel usage than mums NL (11/97 build) around town... But take them for a long open cruise, and they shine in fuel consumption.

But, seeing as its not... Will have to think of other things. Maybe injectors are a little blocked, fuel reg is dying, BBM partially open, blocked exhaust or cat, coil or leads are failing, head gasket leaking
