It should have a yellow plug end and the plug for it is very similar to a fuel injector plug. Metal tab to push down to release.

in regards to the ecu reseting, i done it on it's own. i didnt drive it for a couple of days and then when i turned it on it reseted and ideled funny for 10 seconds and then went good.
i got 12.2 letres for 100km on with mostly freeway driving and about 13.2 with a mix of driving. i very happy with the results seeing as the car has 235***km. seems to be running good, keeping power and smooth driving. i think the colant to strong, so im going to just add water to the colant and get the temp up a bit and will hopeful get a bit better fuel. but not to fust either way. the O2 sensor surly did the job |

I thought my ba was bad on fuel so I bought a 3 ltr v6 pajero. that sure fixed the fuel problem with the ba!

12.2 ltrs per 100 is a damn good result in fuel economy, if you want better take the xr6 300kpa fuel reg off and fit a std el fuel reg...

If it's EL, you are running a distributor ignition. You should be able to get noticeable improvement in fuel economy AND power by twisting the distributor for a bit more ignition advance. And if you are already running 98 octane, you are unlikely to get pinging. The procedure is pretty simple, and will be on Fordmods somewhere; just Search it. Just go a little at a time, and back it off if you get any pinging.
And the thing with the AU injectors is not the amount of fuel (though I believe it is very slightly less than the EF injectors - 19lb vs 20lb or something like that), it is about the better atomisation of the fuel. The smaller the droplets, the better the vapourisation, and the more evenly the fuel is distributed in the air, the more of it gets turned into energy pushing your pistons down, and the less goes out the exhaust. That's the theory anyway.
