did a major service on the EL today and the book (ellery's) says to depressurize the fuel line by removing the fuel pump fuse & run car till stalls then start again b4 replacing the fuel filter - stuffed if i could find it so i pulled the relay instead

anyone know where the fuel pump fuse is?

workshop manual reckons it is near battery and the only ones i could find was a block of 7 high amp ones and none were marked fuel pump

circuit diagram shows it being feed from this block of fuses but is very vague and not marked

im wondering if they were refering to the fuel pump relay and its just a misprint?

anyway it worked it was just a prick to get to - like everything else in the I6 engine bay :(
