I searched this forum and found everyone was either using the replacement typhoon airbox or ss inductions or something along those lines.
Would you like to check this out? http://www.gdperformance.com.au/object/ ... ke_systems It uses a k & N pod filter. I was wondering if anyone here actually has any feedback on it. It costs quite a bit, just under $600. i've seen others on fordforums installing this on their BA/BF/AU NA6s, but no one has been upfront about dyno performance or whether bottom end performance is affected. only dyno tests seen on V8s, and since they need to suck so much more air, its no wonder anything u do to enhance that will increase performance, but how about the 6? I've attached a pic of the kit installed on an AU6 and another on a BA XR8. Do let me know what you guys think! Thanks heaps! please note the guy with the XR8 painted his red, it looks so sweet but yet stock!

I've heard nothing but good reports about the G&D airbox.
Only thing stopping me getting one is the price, not going to spend that much putting one on a stock engine. It's a damn expensive plastic box + a pod. I've just added a K&N panel filter. the GT's come with the typhoon lower snorkel already.
