Hey Guys
I have a question and that is Is it safe to remove the Gas Converter all together and the rubber boot bolted to the throttle bottle and still leave the tank and hoses and stuff there? The reason is that i havnt used gas for a year but dont really wana remove it incase i one day get it all fixed but on the weekend a couple of seals went in the converter which has the coolant pumped through so my only option after several hrs of trying to stop the leak was to bypass the converter all together by buying a 5/8 hose joiner nad joining the inlet and outlet for the converter together so now it looks stupid with just a couple of wires hanging of the converter and was wondering if it can be removed and safely able to drive?!

You should seriously price replacing the converter - its not much - you'll save the money in under 2 months I think

go to the tank, turn the tap off, this will stop LPG flowing through the lines, you can now disconect the converter. put tape around any electrical wires or anything removed so they don't short, and tie them off somewhere so they don't flop around or anything.
you'll also have to sort something out with your coolant hose. |

yeah well ive quoted a new conveter and its $250 not including labour
So thats a little bit high for me considering that i dont use it. Thus my reason for wanting to remove just that until one day it becomes cheaper but not now
