Mate, if you live in Adelaide i would never go strait LPG. LPG is scarce outside adelaide cbd and if it is there its soooooooo expensive. I saw it for 89.9 just outside talem bend. Duel Fuel is always a good backup. I drove from melb to adelaide and was shocked at the prices of LPG. Fuel was only about 13cpl dearer at the most but LPG was nearly 40cpl dearer from melbs price of 53.9. If you are going to drive mainly around the metro you would be ok but forget driving to perth or alice springs. I heard LPG at ceduna was $1.10 cpl. at that price its more economical driving on fuel. At home we have 2 duel fuel cars from factory and they both give relativly good power on gas and petrol. All you need to do is make sure you run both system regulaly and you should never have a problem.

straight gas is good on older carby cars...but on an el there is no advantage to going straight gas, so as everyone is saying just leave it dual fuel...get a tickford duel fuel computer..there are others besides 6tge
