you probably need the converter to match it, and the isc relocation adapter.
they are the best form of mixer that i've seen for lpg. |

AFAIK they use a standard B2 converter. Well That was what they were using when I inquired.
Best bet is to call them GasResearch Pty Ltd Telephone 1800 550 335

They run a B2 convertor or an Impco L type... same s**t between the 2 anyway.
DCStraight had that setup on his EL wagon and from memory it pulled pretty well. |

I have heard, but not seen any evidence, that the new GRA throttle bodies are not upto the great standard that they used to be. I heard that the grears that drive the metering rod loose teeth and break. I also feel that GRA in Dandenong are drongos after the dealings I have had with them

my GRA t/b has been fine, can't vouch for performance as my engine seems to be stuffed.

Ill vouch for that. Used to work next door to them and always heard customers blewing with them. The treat the cars like s**t and there customers are treated even worse than that. Not to mention there pricing

i think the way to deal with them is indicetly, i.e through a fitter who is supplied by them.

GRA use Aussie B2 converters with different springs installed. (double springs) The only major problem with the converter is the primary valve tends to leak, creating a "flooding" type of effect. The solution is to replace the primary rubber valve every so often. Not a hard job, about 30 minutes.
GRA themselves are actualy located in Perth, the ones in Dandenong are only agents. The best person to see for GRA is Terry, at Smithy's Car Repairs, in Bayswater, he knows a lot about GRA stuff. ICS relocation is not difficult, if you can bend, drill and tap. If you get the throttle body you require is the 360 cfm one, ( for the I6) by memory, it has a red difuser, anything else will be too big, and basicaly useless. Make sure the stepped "needle" has not been fiddled with. Make sure the restrictor is still in the idle cuicuit. You will need to alter your inlet pipe too. The bottom left hand bolt to fit the carb is a proper b**ch to get at, and I generaly leave it off. Get it tuned on a dyno. Good luck |

I've got an S400 on my car, and have seen modified 6's running S440's.
no issues, i get good economy too.

i'm in the prosses of installing gas in my car at the moment and i have all the IMPCO stuff, but i'm probably going forced induction later on so i might opt for a GRA S400 T.B.
SO does anyone no if this B2 converter would work or would i have to put some GRA "double springs" in it???
