I know the AU is slightly thinner, but I think it'll make SFA difference to compression.
I'm interested in the thickness's too, I need to do my hg. |

I was gonna put one on my EL motor just to save me the effort o f changing the head gasket later on when the engine is in the car.. but now that I have an M90 supercharger attached to the side, I'm worried that any more compression will cause detonation probs.

Got a couple of figures here from a while ago, dont know if they are correct though. EF 1.00mm AU .47mm I think these where compressed measurments.

dont' use the forum's built in search. it bites.. when I need to search the site, I got to google, click on advanced and tell it to search only fordmods.com works a treat. |

That's a really good idea, wish I had thought of that.. our stupid search has given me too much grief in the past.

telling someone to use the search is not a d***head answer when i know i've posted the answer to his question befor. the post i'm sure also contained a heap of other specs realating to chamber size and compression ratio. you post was more useless and 'd***head' then anyone elses |

and found this one the second page http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopi ... ompression sure it's not my post but it answers the question. and in the 6 pages it bough up there would be about 10 threads that may have been usfull on the topic of compressio, piston to head clearence, chamber size and head modifing in general. |
