Hi I am new to this site.
I am having problems with my 1995 EF Fairmont Ghia as to the gearbox when it is cold it changes hard when cold and then when it is hot it is very smooth.
The Gearbox jolts from first to second and so on.
Can anybody help Regards.[/b]

Assuming this is an AUTO

It is possible that its the S5 Solinoid but this has the opposite effect where it changes smooth when cold and rough once warmed up.

Have you checked the fluid level?

Get an auto electrician to check your trans temp sensor. If it's dead it will affect your shifts.
