Anyone got any ideas about the differences between the various Genie and Wildcat extractors?
They're all Tri-Y with the same size primaries and secondaries. You've got the Genie 694E and the 694SS which are the same, just 1 is stainless steel. Then there is the Wilcat 21, 21X (has 1 1/2" primary pipes), 243 and 21SS (stainless steel version of the first ones). Then you've got the Genie 694ELB which is just the Genie 694's with longer secondary pipes. And finally there is the Genie 692E and Wilcat 21 or 243 which are the same things, supposebly, but why is the Wildcat 21 and 243 listed in both as being the same? |

Ok, figured out the difference between Wildcats and Genies:
"ildcat headers are also made here at Genie. Wildcat headers are made to the same standard as our Genie range, but are produced with press bends or crush style bends ,where as Genie are a Full Mandrel bent made header. Wildcat covers a large range of replacement manifold applications, as well as the more budget priced performance market." So, now I'm just interested in the difference between the Genie 694E and 692E - both have the same size Primary and Secondary pipes, both are Tri-Y. |

I better hope you're wrong twr7cx... I just bought a set of Wildcat extractors off ebay new. And the ad said they were fully mandrel bent... Where did you get that info from?

From looking at there website i would say the 692E are 1 piece header like pacemaker and the 694E are a 2 piece design with an adaptor plater after the primary pipes?

Genie website. In the end I decided to stick with my Pacey comps as it turned out they were thelargest total diameter setup which is what I was after. |

from what I can recall wildcats are indeed crush bent, and are good for 0-3000 rpm torque. not much chop up high, better than stock (anything is really...)
