have a ba 02 xr6 N/a utey, i have 1 year till im aloud to put a turbo on it, but i also have that year to get it ready for the turbo, any ideas on what should be done first?

Save up for an entire turbo motor and gearbox.

save up, dont spend much on the car (if you can hold back nothing :P) sell it and buy the turbo model. best thing bout this way is in a year time you might have a complete different mind set on the car

Definately agree with winman, if you really want a turbo, buy one.
It's easier (in regards to engineering, rwc, rego - no need for any extra boxes to be ticked!) and the xr6t's aren't that much more expensive than an xr6 anyway nowadays.
Plus, if you change your mind, you've got the money there to spend on a turbo kit/or engine, driveline or another car if you change your mind (like all 18-25yr olds do!)

There is a bloke on AFF who turboed his NA using factory turbo gear. cost him around 5g including tune.
