Well I'm sure I'm not the only one to know this but if you plant it in 1st, hold it just til the change to second, back it off and and then hit it again duing the gear change, you will get your 2nd gear churp. I used to do it till I got an LSD. Now sometimes it does it if I flick the steering wheel to the right (not recommended). A mate of mine had a stock AU and it used to do it easy.

I found this vid. Think it was back when I had a 1004-110 cam in it. Pretty good 225's on the back and a 3.08 diff. Im sure a standard manual would do the same. Cant see it happening in an auto though.

Just to easy in a manual :). They spin even when you dont want them to.

Dont worry about you tires or your diff, what you need to do is change the solenoid in your auto transmission for one out of a commodore auto and advance it about 5-7minutes, this make the transmission shift heaps harder and when under full acceleration it will spin it up and kick it out sideways. mine does and i run 17x8's on the rear and the motor is stock except for the exhaust.
