i got mine without a resonator in the system, mine wasnt cut off, it didnt come with one hehe, (coz i asked) , much better engine note

take the resinator off, but expect more attention, your 21 so you dont have the "p"ull me over plates up, you should be right.

if you dont like it most good shops will change it back for free, provided you bought it from them.

Bah, it's loud enough with the resonator on.
Drive it around for a few weeks first before you start worrying about it being too quiet.
Too loud and droney, and people just think you're a wanker.

leave the reso on, once it burns in it sounds nice!

i have a hotdog on the back and mum had a reso on hers and it sounded nice and doesnt droan!

i have a mate with a straight pipe after the big muffler and on the way to sydney its annoyin as all f**k, droans so bad at 110 120

Yeh mines good in that sense, once it grabs 4th gear its pretty quiet, i just want a louder idle, and i bit more noise before 2000, but not keen on the idea of it droning

Yeah, but seeing as your only 16, you don't have to drive it around all the time :D
IMO, with resonator is plenty loud enough.
Not too loud when your just putting around, but you still get stares if you flex the old foot, or knock it back a gear and get some crackling as you engine brake.
