G'day, I'm about to buy a tickford xr6 engine for my EL but it does not come with an xr ecu, will the engine run fine with the GLi ecu?

It will run fine. If you really want an EL XR ECU, just get a TI J3 chip. Jason can punch them out without an issue.
A GLi ECU won't make much, if any, difference.

I'm pretty sure the only difference is the Tickford ecu has over standard, is that it has 4 maps instead of 2? But that might be just the LPG Ecu
