i bought the extractors myself and they were $410. So gettin those fitted, a lukey ultraflo straight thru muffler and 3" dump tip was $330. That was from Carline mufflers in mornington.

Sounds Good Mr Nasty,
Thats the next step for me, sounds like a good price for the straight through exhaust. I may be looking into that soon. Shugg |

Nah, $410 aint bad for pacemaker comps. If it were the regular paceys that would be a bit high though...

He only got the Lukey muffler, not an entire Lukey exhaust! |

i already had a 2.5" system on there, i just got the rear muffler changed to a lukey straight thru, and the tip i got changed to 3" just for looks. The normal pacemakers are $310 or somewhere round that, i bought the comps cause i plan a bit of headwork in future. so all up i ended up payin $730. new tip/muffler/extractors, all installed.

Exactly, and my stock one is 5" and looks tiny, i wanna change it to 6" oval, sounds huge but the bumpuer cut out on fairlanes are wide for twin tips, so either big oval or twin tips for me.. oval this time around me thinks.

When there 6" round, then that's huge, but oval ones are fine being that sorts size. Personally I'm a huge fan of dual tips and droopy (dump) tips. |

I like either dual tips of oval also, havnt caught onto the dump pipe craze, looks silly to me?! Anywho yer, i have some nice twin ones on my Sportsman, cost heaps but look shmick! Thought about swapping it to the FBT, but meh, i want a oval this time, i nice rolled edge angle cut one, fairly cheap too in comparisson to twin tips.. now if only i could change it myself lol!

The droopeys only suit certain cars, mainly older ones, on them they can look perfect, but on some modern cars that I've seen they just look stupid! |
