Just feel like bragging a little bit lol...please forgive. I just got my Lukey 2.5" Catback (one muffler, one reso) from Car Line Mufflers in Northcote (Northern suburb). I gotta say that I freaking LOVE the note.

Not trying to be a showoff or nething, but I think it's one of the best sounding 6's that I've seen around here and a welcome change from the droning V6 Commodore's with their breathless note.

My tip is a 2.5" that splits into twins BMW M3 style. Got it from eBay but can't remember the link. I'll take a picture sometime tomorrow and post it up.

The price was kinda hefty though...$395 to get rid of stocker exhaust, supply and fit the Lukey and to cut up my tip coz it was too long. It was 'sponsored' by my parents so doesn't bother me how much they paid :) .

I gotta say Paul (manager of Carline Mufflers/Statewide Autos) was a really good bloke. I just popped in and he did it there on the spot...took all of bout 30 mins from start to finish. He was really nice too and put up with all my questions.

Overall Satisfaction (out of 10)...gotta be 15!

EDIT - Pics are now up

I got a lukey 2 1/2" and on my EB 4.0L and alot of people confuse it for an 8. Put I only paid $130 for mine exactly the same as yours without a reso just straight through. Gotta love wholesale prices.

Dude if you are happy with it on the first day, wait till it gets louder. Your excitment will go from 100 to 300.

MooseMan - Damn that's a good price! Congrats man. I know the price was high, but I couldn't find any exhaust places that did Lukey's and I didn't really have time to run around alot. I've already had a VN SS and a VR ClubSport wanting to drag. The passenger in the VN said Holden V8's are better den Ford V8's...which was kinda flattering since they thought I was a V8 also. I had a huge breath of satisfaction just then lol. I absolutely LOVE the burbling sound when the revs go down, it sounds so tough!

TwinturboBMX - It's gonna get louder? Is that after some sort of 'run-in'? I think I'm already getting excited!

CordlezToaster - I'm not too sure to be honest. I really don't think it is as loud as some Lancers with their Milo Tin Cannons so I presume it is legal. I think Paul would have told me that it will be illegally loud but not 100% sure.

Off to the Lukey site to get some free stickers haha.

Alaskan EL - yes I just noticed that now. I took my mate home and noticed I couldn't hear the roar for a little while until the engine heated up.

I've been saying for a while now that I've never heard any other brand mufflers with as nice a noise as Lukeys.

I like the sound of mine on a cold morning start, listening to its slightly lumpy idle. Ive only got catback for now but only one muffler and no resonator. Extractors will go on later aswell as a lumpier cam. Awesome note from the Lukey's :D

Same here, I'm gonna get some Pacies and probably a Stage 2 ALTED. Wanted to do the Pacies with the Lukey but bills came at the wrong time lol. Also didn't work much over Easter so double trouble.

Does the tip change ur exhaust note? I was under the impression that it doesn't change the note at all?
