yea im serious the ute wont spin the wheel in the dirt foot to teh floor in 1st arround a corner she wont spin.
she idles fine but just lacks power chews the fuel |

Does the Exhaust rattle? If so it could be the Cat has collapsed.

Yea I'll gave to check but she has a aftermarket jobjob she sounds good I'll check and see if I can unbolt it. It used to go good accourding to owner.
It lost a race against a stock crusier which is non turbo dirseil. What gets me is it runs good not rough or any thing. Car is 96 longreach |

i had the same thing couldn't get over 140k, turned out to be the cat. idled smooth, drove fine around town when driving like a granny, no power

Awsome what's the easyiest way to check it.
Also the ute has the worlds heavyiest clutch. It's either on irviff if the foot is not hard against the floor it's not depressed. My ef xr6 (same year) is 100 times better as was my xc gs coupe with a 351 and toploader. |

your clutch cable could be f**k if its heavy like that. as for the cat, mums old ED had the same problem, no power, and it wouldnt rev over 4000rpm. and if i did rev it at 4000, afterwoulds would run on 3cyl and cough and choke like f**k for a minute or so.
