The weight of the pedal doesn't mean it is a V8 clutch. A V8 clutch wont fit I6 flywheel and V8 flywheel wont fit an I6 crank.

Oh and a stock clutch will have no problems at all holding behind an engine with the mods listed in your sig.

acutaly the V8 flywheel will fit the I6 crank. It's just a bad idea to use a factory V8 flywheel because of the counter balance it has.

If you use a neutral balance flywheel like the one from yella terra then yes you can use it.

I have a yella terra flywheel (light weight neutral balance) fitted to my EF XR6 with an EXEDY sportstuff clutch.

Yeah I have seen aftermarket V8 flywheel modified for the I6 but not a factory one. I was under the impression that the bolt pattern on the crank was different so to make it fit an I6 you had to get to it before it was drilled (well that is what Adelaide Clutch Service told me). Either way it is not cheap. I have priced up the lightweight aftermarket flywheels but it was a bit too much $$$ to justify on a NA engine.

Thats what everyone says........but it must just be one of those things...u know the woman I bought it off told me " if you ever replace the clutch have a heavy duty unit installed, normal will be no good" not sure why or how but shes right...... it would not hold normal ones...I am telling you this...it doesnt matter if you tell me It will hold I DRIVE THE f**k THING so I can tell you they wont hold........

If a normal clutch doesnt hold it means something is f**k. It would mean that your new uber clutch is only gripping as hard as a normal clutch
would.

frickin smart a** :-) little old lady geezus..........she was bout mid 20's!!

But dont take my advice, maybe you should go ask the nice old lady who sold you the car what you should do next
