Went to City Ford yesterday and bought 14 head bolts.
At the time I didn't think anything of it. The bolts came in a plain white shopping bag, covered in oil and are all in loose together. Not too sure if I should be concerned but there are some very little tiny nicks in their threads. Not much but I wonder.......... Do they usually come like that brand new? Thank you in advance.

yeh thats fairly normal.
The dealers buy them in lots of a hundred or more, and they come oiled to prevent rusting etc. |
