Try a "metrinch" type socket which uses the flats , not the angles of the head of the bolt .
This type of socket allowed me to remove thermostat housing bolts which appeared to have no discernable hexagon left.
Hope this may help.

There are special sockets you can buy to remove bolts that have been rounded. You hammer them on to the bolt you want to remove and it grips its tight put in your breaker bar and undo. There not cheap though bought mine for $120 and it was only 5 sockets. but it needed to be done

I grind a groove right through the middle of the bolt head, then hammer a piece of metal into that, then use a shifter and an extension bar to turn it around, worked a treat the last head bolt that rounded itself on me.
