ok dose anyone know if i should get 10 thow off the head tomora as just meserd the old head gasket to be 1.2mm and the new one going on is 2mm so shod i get 10thow off the head or not just ported the ex chambers and puting a new wade cam in to need to know tonight :D

Don't forget you need to compare "compressed height" of the gaskets. If the new gasket is the same brand as the old then the compressed height will be the same.

0.010 shave will obviously lift the CR. Its up to you how far you take it before necessitating running on PULP all the time.

Post some pics of your porting for us? I'm about to attack my first port job and just want to compare with what others are doing and how far it can be taken.

yer its all good just got the head back and had 10thow taken off the guy said no prob with that

Did you work on:
the transition from the bowl to the short side radius?
cleaning up around the valve stems?

if you're handy with the die grinder its probably worth another couple of hours work blending the short side transitions.

Let us know the results.

nar cant be botherd would rather spend more time on my clevo heads this will be ok its only a 6 cly
