Strip, bead blast, machine valve faces, re cut valve seats, reface head, assemble.
Valve guides, pressure testing, welding and straightening is normally extra. If you want them to take more off the face while they are doing a full service, it shouldn't cost you any more. If you do get the full recon done, get them to "back face" the valves to get rid of the step on the stem side of the valve face. An angle of about 25 - 30 degrees should do it. |

just a quik check and skim should be around 120 and can be done with the valves in.
a full reco can be up to $500 depending if new valves and guides are needed |

you should do a bit of it your self to save some cash.
if you have accses to a dail gauge and gregorys manual. take the messurement of every thing and work out the min you can get dont by the reco place. you may be able to lap the valves in your self if the valve to guide clearance is still ok and you have not burnt valves. just get it cleaned skimmed and crack checked i assume you have new valve springs. just check the installed hight, you may need to use some shims to correct it |
