I have aquired another motor for my XR6 and am thinking of putting in a crow cam but was wondering can I just put the cam in or will I need to upgrade valves and springs? The new motor is a Tickford one out of Fairmont Ghia. Any Help would be appreciated

gday mate depends on how lumpy the cam is , but usually yes you have to upgrade at least the springs..... just ask the guys that are doing it theyll know what the go is. also crow cams do a package with a chiptorque chip.... you should look into that to get the most out of it.
