Maybe fix the issue thats causing your EGTs to be so high, instead of trying to fix the issues that arise from it.

Car on LPG. Returns easy 500-600k's per tank(68L), I use pure propane. Car itself runs on blue (s-pac dash) , and makes a new 4.0 look slow, no kiddin..so u tell me what you think?? Extractors are cheapo's, not coated...possibly the prob...but still you know i guess its inevitable for the cables not to get a bit heated..

Timing, AFRs.
As I said the first time you brought this up and shot me down because you believed all 4Ls with extractors melted cables.

The best way to control engine bay heat is rearward facing bonnet vents. the other cheap option is to cut small sections along the rear bonnet rubber seal. cheap & easy. just make sure you pick an area away from electricals. lol
but find out first why its burning. been running extractors nearly all my life but never had that problem you're having.
