That'd be from an EF series 1, correct Pierre?
Pass-airbag was optional in ALL EF 1's..... I think

well as soon as I get my high series bem I'll be doing it as well, everthing else is here ready to go ... how much does it cost to get the aircond regassed these days?

Do you just let the old gas go or should it be reclaimed? Is it bad?? mmmkay?

Ohh man I feel for ya!!! what a biatch of a job. But nice to see you got it together. I noticed in one of your earlier posts about the black plug on the bottom of the climate, a vacuum hose goes there to suck air over the temp sensor in the little slit at the bottom if you haven't already sussed that out yet.
I'm looking at putting in a remote start alarm this w/e (fingers crossed) and when I do it I'll make up an install doco on it (with nice pic's too).
It'll be for a V8 with high options BUT I've got the Ford manual so I'll try and put in the wiring details for low, mid and high series wiring looms..

I gave notice at work this week cause I scored a new job so I've got a couple of weeks off between jobs by which I should have it done along with the rear main seal and timing cover water leak (Arrrggggghhhhh more scraped knuckles and crap from head to toe). My kingdom for a hoist!!!!
I've also got a Megasquirt sitting here ready to go in, so much to do so little time  but i'll keep ya's posted as I go.. :D :D

Update.

So you guys know, basically i changed my dash loom from a Futura/XR loom to a Fairmont Ghia (Fairlane actually but same, diff plugs on left hand side of cluster thats all).

If you install your climate control heater box which im sure anyone can do with a bit of patience and effort you'll get done.

You will need the Ambient Sensor mounted in the front of the bar betwen the horns (NOTE: there already is a plug there, after installing the dash loom this will AUTOMATICALLY work and you will NOT have to add lines to the climate module itself, easy thank god!)

Otherwise, changing of dash loom and bem is quite easy, i'd say no more then a 1.5-4 hour job depending on experience and break (or 2/3+days if you slice your arm open and get stitches..... lol)

Sunload Sensor is on your crashpad/plastic dash mounted and i suggest you just get a fairmont one and swap it over.

Power antenna install is very simple and quick if you havent got one, High Series BEM will run it all for you, otherwise if you havent already got a timed adjuster on your wipers thats about it.

Will post up more info when i get some time!

Bit of a thread mine here lol

I've done the ghia dash loom and c/c conversion. But now I've got my airbag light on. I've been told I need to put a resistor where the passengers airbag goes.

Did u do this ? And how
