Hey i got an 02 AUIII Ute.

Has been backfiring and chugging/jerking for a few days now and seems to have gotten worse. I tried to do a search on here first but couldnt find too much. It will chug/jerk whenever driven but if you put your foot down a lil more it will backfire at least 4 times and become extremely jerky. Anyone have this problem before? or know what it could be??

ALSO;
Driving to work this morning my instrument cluster froze and then beeped at me the whole way to work. Speedo is stuck on 60, cant switch between distance travelled and DTE, cant use the steering wheel controls and has loud, very annoying, beeping sound.

Please shed any light on these problems..

Allright well the instrument cluster is still stuck and has had the steady beeeeeeeeep all day long. Might try an ECU Reset once i get home.. hopefully take care of ALL my problems

Again any info or simple 'try this it might work' will be greatly appreciated.
