as title says, my bonnet cable just broke and i need to know how to open my bonnet. oh its on a xf falcon. please help me :cry: :cry:

take off your front bar also if you have aircon you my have to loosen the condenser to get at the latch. there is a small lever on the back of the latch that will relese the bonnet.

thanks for the reply man. i rememberd i know someone that has a xf so i went and looked at his. he wasnt happy when i poped his bonnet when the car was still locked.

i few years i ago i owned a xf i had the same issue
jack the front of the car up use some pointy nose pliers and work your way up through the radiator support panel with your fingers until you find the cable hold it with one hand to guide the pliers onto it attach the pliers adn give it a hard yank probably a good idea to got to a wreckers and get a cable to replace it first though
