was putting the new clutch on my 4.olt ready to go into the EA and when i was nipping up the pressure plate bolts the engine turned over a little bit (the head is off) and i heard a snapping noise. The cam gear had turned and pulled itself inbetween the chain tensioner and chain guide and snapped the chain guide on the l/h side of eng so now its just loose! what can i do? if i leave it it will be noisy wont it? i have the 3.9lt out of the EA still can i swap them over and if so how do i get it out?its loose but i couldnt get it out!
HELP!!!! (pretty please)

Whilst you have got the head off its a peice a piss to change the guides. Just rip off your timing cover and change all 3 of em whilst your in there. least with the head off you can easily get in to the timing cover gasket surface to get it nice and clean. Mine was a prick to get to down the RHS next to the water pump so you may want to remove it too
