Some (not all) coolents react with each other and cause i gel like substance to form throught the whole cooling system, flush the WHOLE system (heater core and all) with cleen water and then refil with coolent

yeah, i watched a guy pressure test my system, and he pumped up like a little rubber baloon thing round the overflow bottle.

he said it was fine, but im still not convinced. i think my wagon has cracked the head.

i think ive got a blown head gasket i had a read threw the manual for the greories bookand ive got exsesive steam when ideling when i start up(this is also happening during as hot day start up as well so it not cold morning conversation)

there no leaks in the engine bay,floor dry so there must be a internal leak some where.

well ill find out today when i do a pressure test on the cooling systen and compression test on each cyclinder

hmmm,

is there a milky substance in your oil?
does your temp gauge move around around alot?
is your coolant disappearing with no signs of leaking?
doesm your coolant smell like exhaust gas?

If your getting steam out the exhaust after a hot start, then its not looking good. However if you losing coolant out the exhaust then the coolant level should be dropping. Are you constantly topping up with coolant? If the oil is milky like then this will indicate that coolant is mixing with oil. However not all head gasket failures will fail in this way. Check for coolant in the cylinders by removing the spark plugs and cranking over the engine. See if any coolant comes out.

i took the car to work today and put 100psi into my poor cooling system and i found a leak(or proberly made it with the 100psi LOL) my water pump leaks

And yes im always topping up my cooling system and no the oil not milky its fine

Also there no bubbles in the coolant

and it not a hot start that steam comes out it i could not start the car all day from previous day and start in around 1pm and she has some steam come from the exhaust

I havn't gotten around to removing the plugs yet to see if any comes out but id say the leak is kinda slow ive got to make about 45-55km before i have to top up also noting im a LEAD FOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!!!!!

pressure test the radiator
check your hoses
pull tho lower hose off and spray water thru the radiator and see if it circulates proply
put a theromostat in it
flush the radiator
put right mixture of coolant and water in
check the heaterhosesand valves
the tiniest split can cause big f**k leaks
make sure the valves workin
check the coolant bottle and make sure all the connectionsare secure and the overflow is not squished.
check the welsh plug and see therz no leaks
put new coolant cap on
if u got head gasket leak
it will blow the top off of the coolant bottle
or/and ull have milky oil chek ur dipstick

you could also be leaking water from the head gasket being blown on the exhaust side of the block and leaking out and evaporating before you get a chance to see it.
your oil doesnt usally go milky when this happens
