hey i need help on removing ef xr6 and replacing with another ef xr6 engine need to know what tools whats gasket what i have to remove in order to take it out and ill figure it out once its out

There are 2 ways about it...with or without transmission attached. Removing with the transmission attached will be harder to get it out of the engine bay, however it will make a hell of a lot easier removing and installing the transmission.

Remove bonnet or undo bonnet struts and get someone to hold the bonnet (if it's windy and you're doing it outside...I suggest you remove it)
You'll need to remove the intake manifold and exhaust manifold. either completely or just push them aside. Assuming you are just replacing engine...not including manifolds. If the other engine also has manifolds attached, just unplug all the wiring and vacuum hoses and leave the manifolds attached. Remove the intake and exhaust system from their respective manifolds.
You need to remove the thermos and while you're at it, remove the radiator and give it a flush since you need to drain the coolant anyway.
Remove all coolant hoses...pretty much just 4 you need to worry about, hoses at thermostat housing, lower hose at pump and the hose under the intake manifold connected to the heater bypass piping.
Remove the power steering pump...you can either completely remove it or push it aside...might as well remove it and put new fluid in the thing.
AC compressor needs to be removed off engine, you can't remove it completely unless you get a qualified person to degas it...venting into atmosphere is illegal and frowned upon, so just push it to the side.
Unplug all electrical wiring, engine harness and vacuum hoses.

If you remove it with the transmission attached, undo tailshaft from diff and remove it, undo transmission mount and support it with a jack stand for the time being. Remove engine bolts while engine is supported/connected to engine crane. Lift engine up on an angle so that the sump clears the radiator support while the end of the transmission is pretty close to the floor. Obviously be careful when moving the engine away from the bay so that nothing gets caught or jammed. When the engine clears the radiator support you should be able to tilt the whole assembly so the transmission can clear it. Remember to unplug the wiring to the transmission as well as oil coolant lines before you remove it.

Without transmission you will need to remove the tail shaft and obviously the transmission completely. Let it sit under the car while you remove the engine. Once engine is back in put it back together.

That's a basic run down. I probably missed something but can't think straight at the moment. Good luck and have fun.

aus_eb....did this job this morning....engine and transmission out together...bit of a juggle to get the chain positioned right to get the best balance for clearance, fortunately a mate popped over and after a few adjustments on the chains it came out easy...

really need to have a trolley jack, a bung for the back of the gearbox (optional, could use a rag and tape and plastic bag)......otherwise, just general workshop tools

of course you'll need some lifting device

Got the first engine out pretty good but damage the power steering rack lilte pipe at the back now I need then engine gone it runs but pretty well stuffed in my eyes free whoever wants to pick it up call 0449943696 any more advice is very apprieciated

yes, the steering rack is an obstacle.....i covered it with a sheet of tin...helps spreading the impact....across more surface area
