Hey all! Just installed a pod fitler into my eb fairmont and im a little worried about having probs with too much hot air and water getting sucked thru the pod. I was tinking about modding the old airbox to take the pod but its going to be too confinded a space and a heat shield wont really solve the water side of things. Has anyone designed a box or something along these lines? Or am i being paranoid and should just use a shield. All advice tips & pics appreciated. Cheers

I wouldn't worry aabout the wateer (unless your bonnets missing or your driving your car through creeks or something), if a little bits getting to it and getting sucked in I don't think it'll do any harm. Definately a good idea to shield the pod from the head but!

Thanks for your tips! Have a plan now. Got it from chef's diy turbo thread. Gunna box it and duct it and have a pre made intercooler pipe hole. Enjoyed talkin to meslef tho! (No afence twr7cx).
Read the thread its good value. Its in the forced induction workshop.
