Make sure you get a GENUINE head gasket kit and a GENUINE thermostat as I have had these kind of troubles with NON GENUINE thermostats before

What area are you in? I get trade at Jarvis. Use Ford gaskets as GTBob said. But I have only had 1 aftermarket thermostat fail on me in almost 20 years.

I'm Rose Park, Kesington Norwood area.
So how much would I be up for for everything needed to do the head gasket minus tools, have a torque wrench capable of the job, socket sets, screw drivers, anything else I need?? |

Quote: Would the head gasket be the cause of this? Just don't want to have to turn around and re-do the head gasket in a few weeks thats all.
I was just thinking process of elimination. Fix what you know needs fixing first. You shouldn't need to re-do the head gasket again, unless it isn't done properly. Did mine the other week. Bolts 40-70 depending where you get them Genuine Ford AU Gasket $70. Make sure you use new bolts and get the head checked & flattened by a proper cylinder head place before re-bolting on. Good luck.
