I'm looking into getting a new exhaust system for my bf xr6. (Extractors aswell) Just want some ideas from people who know of any good ones or have one themself?

Hey mate are you getting a high flow cat as well? If u r ur engine light will come on due to the second o2 sensor getting a funny reading. I replaced my entire system with hurricane 2.5" includin extractors and high flow 200cpsi cat for just under 1000 bux. It was good no drone at hwy but still reletivley loud and def a gd performance improvement. Ivr put a twin pipe system on after the diff now in 2.5" piping and its fuk loud but i like it.

As phil said, engine light will come on with a high flow cat.
I'm running a full Di Fillippo system, SS headers and cat then mild steel 2.5 catback.
Sounds tough and no drone.
Little pricey tho but well worth it.
Cost me roughtly $1700ish fitted and twin tips.

Pacemaker headers are the most popular, with redback, xforce or herrod catback.

I'd suggest going Pacemaker 4490s, with a magnaflow 2.5" 200 or 100cpi (less cpi the raspier it sounds, stock is 400 so probably don't go more than 200). Finish it off with a 2.5" mild steel Redback or Xforce catback with either 1 or 2 straight through mufflers depending on how loud you want it (1 muffler will make it sound like tractor lol). Don't stress over cathack brands, as long as they're mandrel bend with straight through mufflers they're all the same thing .

Also, because you have a BF when putting on your extractors and cat your 2nd o2 sensor will get a funny reading and make your car run either to lean or rich.
To fix this you'll have to get a custom tune (which you would want to do anyways because it'll unlock about an extra 20+rwkw) but this will set you back a good $1500 on top of whatever you're willing to spend on your exhaust so make sure you can afford it first lol.

I have a BA XR6, Though yesterday i just had fitted Pacemaker 4490's, 2.5" High flow cat and a 2.5" Mandrel Exhaust. I got a resonator at the front and a rear muffler dumping out to twin 2 1/4" pipes. It sounds great though its getting a bit of a drone while reving so im going to take the resonator out and fit a middle muffler.

Very bubbly when decelerating, Sounds fairly lumpy while idling Paid $1200 fitted.
