I have an ed xr6 and the horn wont work. Surely it is fused somewhere? Not in the fuse box though. Where might i find the fuse? And where, if there is one, is the horn relay? Pulled the steering wheel off and wired directly the horn, still no current at the horn. Help pls.

The horn relay is behind the battery under a black plastic cover. There are four relays in a row on the gaurd. The horn relay is closest to the front.

Like Brett3158 said, it's in the bank of relays just beside the battery. (On mine at least) it's a yellow relay - looks like a little block, you'll see what I mean when you pull that cover off. Closest to the front of the car, you can't miss it. Can't remember the model number, but it's different to the other relays. Also another thing to check is the actual connection to the horn itself, if you press the horn and you can hear a click from the relay bank, it's possible that it's the connection on the horn - mine needed a jiggle and a push and it worked. |
