HELP:cry: Hi iam putting in a ba 6cly in my speedway car and does any one know a basic way to wire it up..Do i modifie a standard loom or buy a microtech unit as speedway car only has off on and start button, Ive looked at a standerd loom out of street car but wires going every where???? Any ideas, Hope some one out there can help. Cheers Mark Is there any one that can give me a diagram how to do it as the help would be a big help to me..

Hi.
You need to build a custom wiring loom to adapt the BA Engine and factory PCM to the vehicle you are putting it in. This is still a relatively new conversion and there is little available information. I am in the middle of installing a BA Engine into my EB Wagon street car, and I would have a couple of hundred man hours into it already, most of it research. I will eventually make up a diagram, but it is some time away. A speedway car would be easier as you don't have to worry about A/C and signals back to the car etc. Good luck. BenJ

Cheers Mark Is there any one that can give me a diagram how to do it as the help would be a big help to me.. being a speedway car, go with the microtech or similar ecu. just keep it basic, crank sensor, water temp, air temp, ls1 coils or coil igniters firing coil on plug.. dont worry about the vct, lock the cams and go for it.. |
