Hi guys,
I am having a problem with my ef. the problem is that it runs well on gas but when i flick it over to petrol it shudders and fells like its not getting any petrol. i have recently change my sparks, leads, coil pack and had put in a new fuel pump about 9 months ago. it always backfires and pops off the hose of the manifold and the one that goes to the map sensor. Could the map sensor be faulty? if so would this affect only the petrol and not the gas? any help will be much appreciated.

Do you regularly run it on petrol?

Could be dirty injectors or fuel filter, or even a clogged sock on the fuel pump.
Try the fuel filter first as this will be the easiest and cheapest place to start.
