Hi, after installing a VCT engine in my XG over the weekend if found 2 plugs with no home.

Any help would be sweet. Im tipping ive missing something obvious but cant for the life of me locate it

the top one is the dizzy plug and the one in the second pic is used for part of the auto trans loom

no, that plug goes directly into the tfi module on the dizzy..

Haha thats the word i was looking for, dizzy not coil. same area easily confused

So I've gone to plug the tfi plug up and realized it Gould on throttle body.should I have done something to avoid this?

your dizzy is in the wrong position, you need to pull the dizzy out rotate the whole dizzy and slot it back in...

Would it be possible to do the dizzy rotation without removing the log manifold do you think?

yea, you can get the dizzy out without removing the manifold..

pull the dizzy cap and cap base off and you should be able to lift the dizzy up enough to rotate it,

Thanks man. And last but not least (for now).. is that an allan key to undo gbox drain and fill plugs and if so what size?

Hoping to get this thing running tonight if all goes to plan

Yes its a allen key, i think its around an 8-9mm? I did my fluid yesterday but dont remember what size key i had. :roll:
