where does the red wire with green stripe go that is on the eng loom it is next to the red wire that goes to the starter.on ea mpfi

its got a plastic black female plug on it im fairly sure it should go to the solenoid under the dizzy

Does it look as though it has ever been pluged in,some times ford use optinal looms, plugs, for other s**t on other models.

From memory there are 2 connectors on the starter.

well put that way there are 4...1 for the battery, 1 for the starter solenoid , 1 to activate the solienoid and not sure about the other

4 wires to the starter??
if it looks real similar to the other wire there, it's probably for oil pressure sender.
have them all disconnected, and put your test light into each one and turn the key.
it should only light up with the key in the start position.
