$8000 is a good budget for a great strong NA engine.. but you'd almost be mad not to invest in a cappa supercharger kit.. for that money the bang-fo-your buck will be alot bigger... than an NA application... and yes... as above...

capa kit would be the way to go, you will slaughter a v8 with a stage 2 powerdyne or vortech kit.

sorry to steal this thread a little, but would an engine with 150,000km s**t it self with a capa supercharger kit on it? It is in good nick doesn't use any oil, runs smooth as.... cheers.

it really depend's on how much boost you are thinking of using....i probly would still rebuild it b4 adding forced induction

the capa kit claims 8psi for 180rwkw. so its not too much. It would be interesting to see what the torque does...
