I am assuming you are talking about the fuel line that connects to the outside of the pump, that is the metal pipes that come from the pump. If so, easiest way: get another one. Go to a wrecker, or buy a new one. If it is the supply line, you will never be able to clamp it tight enough to stop leaks.
If you get another one from a wrecker, squirt some WD40 into the connector and get it working freely before you fit it, it saves a lot of pain later on. |

to remove those clips you need to push the pipe onto the pump connector and at the same time push the white washer thing into the pipe, i.e. away from pump.
and replace the pipe you have cut with one from a wrecker or a new one.

im talking about the fuel line ,not the metal part on the part you strap the pump to,i need to replace both the rubber fuel hose that goes to the engine bay. is it just one long run or does it stop somewhere
