im a big fan of the smell of burning rubber and would like to make my ute spin its tyres easier.

atm i got an auto ba xr6 ute 2002. this car doesnt seem to do burnouts in its stock form.

wot would be good? ive already posed the question of superchargin or turbo but that would b till a couple of years. so wots the nxt best option?

lsd? diff ratios (wot type)? cam?. keep in mind that it is a daily driva.

cheers all.

any car pull a burnout even 120y's...

maybe do the basic mods that are stickied and repeated all over this site.

BTW, be prepared to break stuff, and the cost involved. same with anything push harder and stuff will fail.

P.S. you did switch off traction control....right??? lol

BA ute should do it no worries stock....maybe you should practice more by going to some burn out comps....

But of course if you turbo it will be easier...if you want to put different cams in you can but I think that would be very expensive on a BA...

Maybe get some extractors and an exhaust....

Is it auto or manual?

LSD wont help if you are struggling to spin one wheel, that will make it twice as hard to break traction, but a hell of a lot more fun when you do (nothing like being crossed up!... on the track of course).

Yeah I agree a BA should smoke up the bags easy. Make sure traction control is off. My EL lit on one tyre well into second gear and loves to light up both now with the LSD.

Of course only do bunouts on private property, as doing burnouts on the streets is dangerous and stupid.

as i said aven a 120y...lol, good fun, hold the rear gaurds and gun it.

the easyest way to do a burn out even in a 1 litre auto, for beginers.

1 open space, les stuff to hit.
2 turn the wheel
3 hold brake and gas
4 jump off brake, thn back on if you want a stand still.

if that doenst work, try oil or give the keys back to ford.

only one thing with an auot ba doing burnouts, and it aint the car, sorry bloke you need some practice-help, find someone you trust with your car and life if possible who can skid, give em your keys and get in the other seat and learn, i've taught many people this way and it shows them what there car can really do.

thanks bigbell351 and rushed.

i wos just askin a simple question which only needed a straight answer in reply. i dont think it wos really necessary to go all out and bag.

in my line of work (electrician).no matter how stupid or complex the question is if you dont kno u ask, if you r unsure u ask, and if ur pretty sure u still ask becos 1 f**k up and u or sum1 else could b dead.

i take this approach to most things.
