Mate i have found a post from a few years ago which outlines this.

You stuck a set of lukey extractors on your car with the original s**t house cat(2.5" flanges) and old exhaust system. You noticed low down power.

Then you say a while later you got pacemaker comps 4480, High Flow cat and 2.5" mandrel bent system installed and you noticed a really good power improvment.

Now since fitting the complete new exhaust system you have been bagging out these extractors on every post. If you had stuck the lukey's on with the new high flow cat and 2.5" exhaust, I don't think you would be saying all this crap.

Extractors only work properly as long as the rest of the system is up too scratch.

just remember, what will extractors really do? for the $300+ you get 2 extra horsepower at the firewall. and they dont really add much to the note their. but if your going to have the exhaust done, you may aswell

a full exhaust system generally gives about 5-15rwkw depending on the condition of the engine..

Kraddy, i got the system shown in my sig with stainless tip for $890 last Saturday down at Midas Thomastown, thought it was a resonable price and very happy with result just hoping it gets a bit louder.
Was this about the going price, seemed like an alright deal?
