Hey guys, so I just got some slotted rotors for my ef falcon, changed both fronts, along with pads. I just went to drive out of my driveway, and the passenger side wheel started knocking. I checked the wheel nuts and they are all tight. Any idea on what it could be?

Did you replace both wheel bearings as well? Bad idea to use old bearings on new races. (would have been pressed into the new rotors)
Was the bearing/hub nut torqued correctly (30Nm then loosen 1/2 turn and then tighten to 15Nm)? Also caliper sleeve bolts (30Nm)?

I did torque to 30, but didnt know you have to turn back then retorque to 15, so will do that now, and yes i used new bearings on both sides

Lets hope you haven't ruined your new bearings. Remove everything and check the bearings to make sure they are still good. Repack them with High Temp Grease, then tighten them as Esteven8 mentioned. I usually just tighten the nut up hand tight (socket attached to extension bar and tighten as much as I can with one hand gripping extension) after backing off half a turn.
EDIT: Make sure you rotate the rotor (in any direction) while tightening the hub bolt to 30Nm...this helps to seat the rotor on the spindle properly.

Yeah piston is pushed in, if I bolt down one side, then the other end won't go down to the corresponding bolt hole

Found the problem, turns out I had the wrong wheel bearings, a quick run over to repco, and they are on, and bolted up
