Guys
Just wanted to know if anyone can put me on the right path here. Firstly I want to put of Jaysens stg2 cam in and was recommended that i needed a stall converter. Would it be a good idea in order to feel the real effect of the cam to change push rods, valve springs & lifters to be changes as well. Also does anyone know where in melbourne I can get this done. Thoughts

with a new cam you will definetly need new valve springs. Get a set that suit the cam. Your cam supplier might have some springs that suit, otherwise ask them which springs they recommend. Lifters only if your ones are buggered, and push rods????

Jaysen will tell you what springs to run witht he stage 2 and possibly even supply them. Lifters wont need to be changed and ea onwards were overhead cam so they dont have push rods. Not sure on the stall converter, but i dont really think its necessary.
