Profix is usually very overpriced but let us know what he says. Places which specialise in performance exhaust are usually cheaper. I'd definately go somewhere that has a good reputation like Exhaust Techniques or Exhaust Technology. I made the mistake of going for a cheaper price with a not very well known mob called Jester Automotive up in the City Dismantlers' compound. STAY CLEAR OF THEM! They quoted me $660 for a FULL mandrel bent 2.5" system and when I got it only the section going over the axle was mandrel bent! All the rest, extractors and front pipe, was press bent. Not to mention I've taken it back there three times so far. Shoulda' known it was too good to be true... Bloody thieving wogs.

I asked the local exhaust bloke to make me up another pipe that went in front of the fuel tank and he said "no",
"awww please"..... he reckons not legal cause it would sit too close to the plastic tank |
