I don't think they are worth anything like $160. The theory is sound enough. If they were about $30 like they should be then everyone would get them. I saw some little vanes you fit to the back of your car to reduce drag. Ugly but supposed to reduce fuel use by about 10%. I was thinking of making some to try out. I think they would be ok on the wagon but no way on a sedan.

ur car will suck air quicker than one of those pissy little things will be able to pump it and as for those fuel saver vane things, only a moron would buy make or put them on their car

xavier you miss the point entirely on hiclones. They are passive. as in they dont move. They air coming into the intake gets turned into a spinning vortex and supposedly helps with improving fuel/air mixing therefore power and economy. The theory is sound. we need Dynowog to try them out for us and report results.

rofl, this stuff is a load of s**t, manufacturers them selfs would use these if it wasn't s**t.
But then you always get the idiots who have no idea debating "It's all a ploy by the oil companies to make more money blah blah blah". Sorry, but there is no way to magically reduce your fuel consumption, besides how you drive and what you drive. Then things like the cars tune etc. |

They do work on *some* types of engines. They do not work on most.
The feedback from people who have tried them is they dont work on the ford I6's.

Theres to much bends on the i6 broadband manifold for it to be beneficial. but having them sitting inside 6 downdraft stacks might be another story. who knows what gains its capable of.

I'd think if there was a large improvement they would come stock from the factory in some car models
